I have heard a rumour that there are 10 candidates for the leadership election.
I welcome the choice if these rumours are to be believed but can not think of 10 people who are viable candidates. Any help with guesses on who they may be |

This is an important question for those who have posted previously to the forum complaining that the leader (of UKIP) is spending too much time in Brussels. For those who do not want a UKIP leader who goes to Brussels/Strasberg - this is probably the most important question. Candidates for the leadership of UKIP would have to clearly rule themselves out as UKIP candidates for the EU 'Parliament' to get the support of those UKIP members who want a leader who is not and will not be an MEP and who will be firmly rooted in the UK - making only brief and occasional courtesy visits to the EU headquarters. |

![]() Would it extend to a pledge by an MEP not to seek re-election? As a matter of interest, where do you personally stand on an MEP being a leader? |
