Does anyone know how one quits a political party? My Conservative membership is due for renewal on 24 June 2006 but I want to rejoin UKIP. But I don't want to be accused of being a member of two parties at the same time!!
Thanks. |

Send your card back, with a letter explaining why.
They should reply, but if they don't chase them for confirmation.

I contacted them and I've just had this response:
Dear Lee Thank you for your email. Your request has been noted and we will be removing you from our membership database. We are very sorry to lose you as a valued member. If you would like to rejoin the party, please contact your local Conservative Association. Kind regards Flossy Keelson-Anfu Membership Department CCHQ I can now rejoin the only party with the interests of this country at it's heart. ![]() |
