How should UKIP select its candidates for the european " parliament"
In your opinion what have been the parties successes & failures since June 2004. What should be done to address the failures What measures do you propose to increase the involvement of UKIP members in decision making |

1) Do you want us to be a one issue party ?
No, but remember all policies hinge on whether we are in the EU or not 2) How will you develop new policies ? I've no idea! 3) Do you think that we talk enough about education, crime and the NHS ? Joe Public has heard so much about policies on education and the NHS from other parties that he isn't listening anymore, so why waste our breath! If not how we you change this ? Just tell Joe Public how many British government policies start life in Brussels and how a British government has no control whilst we are a member of the corrupt EU 4) Will we target more ? Eg learn from Respect, the Greens and Lib Dems ? I've no opinion! 5) Will we make public statements about things in the news more eg http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/w...re/4946644.stm UKIP has got to get it's views through to the media, every possible chance should be taken to hammer home UKIPs up to date opinion on news items 6) If we are accused of racism will you challenge the accuser to libel specific members of the leadership so he/she can be sued ? YES! 7) Will you consult the membership more over policy ? DEFINATELY! How will you get UKIP mps in Parliament ? Keep hammering home our message until we eventually get through to Joe Public! 9) Do you think that the other parties will ever take us out of the EU ? NEVER! It is down to us! 10. Will you try attracting disgruntled Labour voters as well as Tory? And if so, how? If they agree with us then we'll automatically attract them! 11. How will you try and get opinion formers onside. UKIP should be approaching people like Richard Littlejohn, Peter Hitchens et al, even asking them out for lunch. DEFINATELY! 12. How do you intend to approach the issue of immigration and at the same time put clear black water between UKIP and the BNP? EASY!, Throw Delroy at them! Remember skin colour plays a big part in the BNP message! 13. Will you try to stand as many MPs as possible in 2010 or just target seats? All depends on party funds and available suitable candidates! 14. If the latter, when are you going to start the campaign, because there's no time to waste. You couldn't afford to pay me enough! |
