Default Steven Allison as Leader?

I think Steven Allison might make a good leader.

He is not an mep

He is not from a Tory background.

He is comparatively young, but not too young.

He was active as NE regional organiser, attending many branch meetings.

He did well in the Hartlepool by-election and has just won a seat on Hartlepool Town Council. He is also our by-election co-ordinator, so he knows about fighting elections.

I know him vaguely and he seems like a decent and likeable fellow.

I was considering him for the leadership even before his by election win. What do you think about him standing?

Actually its Hartlepool UNITARY Authority, equivalent to a County Council, not a Town Council which is just another name for a Parish Council.

Would very much doubt he'd be interested. Too many people with better claims than him.....
