Having looked at many of the UKIP local election results it is clear that UKIP beat Labour, Liberal Democrats (and some Conservatives) in North, South, East and West England. I think many dozens if not very low hundreds of big 3 party candidates were beaten by UKIP candidates on Thursday. I would think a press release saying just how many of those candidates were beaten by UKIP might be of some interest to the national media.

A decent analysis of where UKIP were second and third would be useful... and how many votes were collected against overall to see the percentage swing to or away from UKIP....
...it could be that major progress was made - but we need the good PR angle, what ever it is. |
