So if that is the case, when the BNP wipe the floor with UKIP in the local elections, It will be because UKIP is seen as a one issue party!

1) They won't wipe the floor. They may do o.k in a couple of areas as the ulitmate anti-vote.

2) Like it or not, while they are single issue, they manage to talk about more subjects than UKIP do.

3) The Greens will do much better than either, yet they really are single issue. Perhaps they have convinced more people that their single issue REALLY is important.

4) I actually believe the single issue thing is just one of a number of problems that UKIP has. Labour people think UKIP is Tory plan B. Tory people hate UKIP because they think we still their votes. Libby Dems think their party is the real alternative. Apathetic people don't vote anyway.

That doesn't leave a very big pool to fish from.

Kernow please answer my question :-
"Why do people who are anti the EU not vote UKIP ?"

Is it because they disagree with us on other issues ? Or because they think we don't have a policy on other issues ?

http://www.globalbritain.org/BBC/48_...nionPolls_.pdf
45% of people want us to leave the EU. Which means UKIP are getting 2% of potential voters for our party.
Great lets only talk about the EU Kernow maybe these people don't vote for us because we don't talk about it enough.

Neither! I think it is because we are considered so small that they think voting for us is a wasted vote, also many eurosceptics still mistakenly think that only the Tories can take us out of the EU. Also people are more worried about Immigration and imported criminals than they are about the EU, that is why the BNP is likely to do well. These voters have not yet made the connection between foreign criminals being free to walk into this Country and the EU! We should be shouting it from the roof tops!

Actually only 20% of criminals can walk into the country because of the EU. Therefore we should not just talk about the EU.

Kernow do you think the NHS is important ? Do you think leaving the EU would in itself solve the NHS's problems. If someone does not care about the EU but cares about the NHS why should they vote for us ?
Do you really think that the other parties want to talk more or less about the EU ? I think they want us to only talk about the EU so they can say we are a one issue party. What do you think they want us to do ? Whatever it is we should do the opposite !

No of course I don't! think that! I've never said UKIP shouldn't have radical policies. I came across today when having a tidy up (slinging session) My policies (requested) I had sent the NEC I think ii was just after the 2004 elections, when I read them I thought "This Guys Brilliant!" ops: then I realized they were my policies! None of them could have been implemented ( they weren't all about hanging and flogging  ) whilst we were members of the EU crooks club!

Good so therefore you agree that we should not only talk about the EU. I just hope others agree with you.
