Default Question I need the answers too

As a Ukip member and a chairman I believe I should know the answers to the following questions.

Have we got a press office?
Where is the press office situated?
Who works for the press office?
Who pays for the press office?

How many employees work for Ukip?

Who pays for the employees in Ukip?

How much do Ukip take in memberships?

How much do MEPs give to Ukip?

Do Ukip MEP researchers work for Ukip?

Who pays the regional organisers?

Why can I never find the accounts for UKIP?

I doubt I will find the answer to most of these questions which says everything.

B.A.Ware ,where are you a Chairman? How many candidates are you fielding at the local elections?
All parties accounts are filed at www.electoralcommission.gov.uk they must be by Electoral Law.
As a regular on this forum you will surely have seen the exchange between Petrina and Mark which in my opinion answered the press office issue.
May I suggest that the NEC make Branch Officers more aware of the Electoral Commission AND of their responsibilities. Also the accounts are presented at the Annual Business Meeting and were given to each attendee. They are pretty boring --even to accountants.
My inference from much of the content on this forum is that people are obsessed with how much everybody earns and who picks up the tab. Why?

Why, instead of writing this on an unofficial forum, don't you write to head office to ask this?

Or are you just after some inside the tent *******?

Could you explain why you used capitals for the word AND of their responsibilities?

Is that the business meeting that was advertised in the Independence after the event?

I do not care one jot what people earn on the other hand I do care about the parties’ finances.

I really cannot understand why you seem to object to me asking these questions.
I believe there should be a structure within Ukip for everyone to see, I believe everything should be in the open and above board.

Yes I have seen Petrina and Marks post, but this does not answer my questions fully, like if the Ukip press office is paid by the EU just say so, its not a problem, the problem is finding this information. Can you tell me how many people work for ukip Full time?

I don’t think these questions are unreasonable if you read them in the correct context.

Ah another one of Bellatrixs WELL RESEARCHED FACTS

Well bellatrix you've got to think outside of the shoe box for this one.

1. I would like to know the information.
2. I am trying to highlight the lack of structure.
3. If my thinking is correct I won’t get many answers because I don’t think many people know them (a bit of a straw poll on people’s knowledge of Ukips structure)

The trouble bellatrix is people like myself want to improve the party, structured, open and honest, multi-policed and core values, something that will appeal to the disenfranchised electorate but every time someone says anything critical or suggests new ways of doing things or starts new initiatives (Youthkip) people like yourself come on here and berate us instead of trying to explain why these things are not possible and therefore winning people over instead of trying to antagonise them.

By the way if ******* inside the tent helps someone install a toilet then the tent will be a better place to be in the long run. 8)

BA,I find it quite remarkable that each time a direct question is asked regarding anything concerning the UKIP manipulators at the top, attacks are immediately made upon the person who asks the question.

There is nothing wrong with what you have said or asked, nothing.

It would appear that the usual supporters of the incumbent Leadership are with us again, this must surely be because their is an Election for a new Leader in the next 5 weeks or so.(forms in by 31/05/06.)

I am going to do my best to make sure that "The Leaderships Chosen One" is shown very clearly to be a puppet of some of the MEPs in UKIP.

It will take some doing to remove their sticky little fingers from the helm of UKIP but it can be done.

Thank you Hartlepool, it does seem that way doesn’t it, as I’ve tried to explain to Bellatrix if they were to try and answer the questions instead of having a go at the person who is asking them they might get a lot more support.

BA,it is true to say that I now have great disrespect for some of those who are at the top of UKIP.

I believe that it will be hard to remove them but that we must try to remove them at all costs.

Without these people we can progress swiftly, with them remaining in charge UKIP will remain dormant, stirring occasionally to yawn when the Membership speaks to them. ops:

BAWARE;Thanks for answering my questions.I personally think that posters should use their real names to give credibility to their views.I am disappointed that you are not fielding candidates (assuming you have local elections) as if we had more candidates we would have had a political broadcast.Without a deposit to find ,this is a low cost way of putting UKIP's name about.I am under no illusions as to success .
I worry that this site is used by our rivals to wind us up and that with the Lechlade Group and the' nearly but not' NEC meetings we may be heading for serious damage as happened in London when factions courted Kilroy, and IMO mislead him as to possible support.I am still picking up the pieces left by the Veritas debacle in my area.
The questions you raise aren't unreasonable but I was surprised that as a Chairman you were not familiar with the Electoral Commission website.I used upper case for the AND merely to make people aware of this site and the fact that information on that site is relevant to officers responsibilities. There was nothing personal as although I now know your location I don't know your name or anything about you.
I take your point about Independence News advertising the business meeting post the event-----I found out by email(I can't remember who from) and from a posting on UKIP website, although start time given was wrong.
Rather than peeing either inside or outside our tents lets all join together and pee on liblabcon and the rest.
Have a good weekend, cheers for now.
