Actually, I made a suggestion that would help you get the answer. Who uses the forum here who would know the exact details, after all.

I could write something you had written previously and you would slag it off because it was me saying it. I can deal with that, I was just trying to be helpful.

that with the Lechlade Group and the' nearly but not' NEC meetings we may be heading for serious damage as happened in London
we may be heading for serious damage??????????!!!!!!!!!!

What - damage that might make UKIP unlikely to win elections?
Or damage, perhaps, which would remove any possibility of voters joining unless they were ex-tories?
How about damage of the kind which would make the leader of the party invisible?
Or, perhaps, damage of the variety which would prevent the party from regularly putting out press releases about things happening in our country?
Worse, maybe, damage of the type which would prevent the party from communicating effectively and regularly with it's members?
Or are you referring to the sort of damage that could reduce our membership from 27,000 down to about 17,000?
Perhaps you refer to the style of damage that would cause NEC members, chairpersons and treasurers to resign?

Gosh no, I wouldn't want any damage like that to happen!

WAKE UP!

Do we really have to reopen that one again, Douglas?
It's been discussed time and time again and the fact of the matter is that the vast majority of members got the Independence News after the Business meeting had occured, and so had no advance warning as to the fact that it was to be held when it was.

It looks like Democracy is non existent within the cabalistic section of our UKIP Leadership.

I remember the Election of the Disciplinary Commitee,no answers yet on those questions.

1. How many Members present?
2. Who proposed who,and seconded them?
3. How was the Candidate List realised?

It stinks, and so does the severe lack of Democracy within the cabalistic section of UKIP Leadership.

The UKIP Membership will win in the end though.

Default Re: Question I need the answers too

Quote:
"B.A.Ware"]As a Ukip member and a chairman I believe I should know the answers to the following questions.
The heading to the thread is: "Question(s) I need the answers to"

Why do you "need" these answers? What practical use will they be to you beyond idle curiosity?

The shareholders of a company do not need to know the detail of the company finances beyond the company report at the end of the year - and they are often putting considerable sums of money INTO phpbb_the company on the understanding that the company directors will do the very best to make a profit for them.

Why are you so distrustful that the UKIP directors are not doing precisely that for the "shareholders" of UKIP? I think it is because you are billious and suspicious for no good reason. Your statements are interspersed with inaccuracies and conjecture. IMO what you need to do is get some candidates INTO phpbb_the elections at Sutton Coalfield. There is no point in a political party if it does not get candidates up for elections.

You get a company report for UKIP if you attend the business meeting - which was advertised incidentally before the last meeting. Then is when you can ask questions of a financial nature.

Briefly to your other questions (to the best of my knowledge):-

Quote:
Have we got a press office?
Strictly no. There is an office run by Nigel for the purposes of his MEP's duries to assist in the dissemination of information to the public about the EU. It is not run by or for UKIP.

Quote:
Where is the press office situated?
It is not a UKIP "Press Office". Nigel's office of information is at the EU offices in Queen Anne Gate. London.

Quote:
Who works for the press office?
It is not a UKIP Press office. It is an information centre for NIgel.
Mark Croucher and Clive Page work there.

Quote:
Who pays for the press office?
Aready answered.

Quote:
How many employees work for Ukip?
Don't know. Geoffrey Kingscott is one. Why ever do you NEED to know this?

Quote:
Who pays for the employees in Ukip?
UKIP

Quote:
How much do Ukip take in memberships?
Don't understand the question, it doesn't make sense. If it is about quantities of money raised, that is confidential information to which you are NOT entitled.

Quote:
How much do MEPs give to Ukip?
A private matter for them. None of your business.
If they choose to donate monies to UKIP it has to be from their own salary and constitutes donations. They have no need to declare unless over £500 for the electoral commission.

Quote:
Do Ukip MEP researchers work for Ukip?
No. They work for the MEP's - to assist them in their duties to inform the public about the EU.

Quote:
Who pays the regional organisers?
No one does. Some UKIP members have been appointed by and do work for the MEP's for which they are paid. This work has nothing to do with UKIP. Some are members of UKIP who give their time voluntarily and because of their special position in assisting the regional branches (in their own time) are titled regional organisers. Their paid work is to assist the MEP's in their duties to inform the public about the EU - it has nothing to do with UKIP and UKIP has no control over what they are required to do by the MEP's. If they happen to help with UKIP work it is voluntary and unpaid by UKIP.

Quote:
Why can I never find the accounts for UKIP?
You can at the business meeting.

Quote:
I doubt I will find the answer to most of these questions which says everything.
What does it say? You do not make sense.

In my opinion you do not actually need to know any of this at all to enable you to get on with the job of fighting the EU; it is merely non-useful curiosity or possibly malicious in intent.

What a load of old nonsense - Yet again !

Where do you people get this stuff from? What is the purpose of raking over old coals just for the entertainment of your spleen? You are so full of bile I don't know why I bother to try to put your nonsense right.

If you find it so terrible why don't you just leave UKIP? - you are certainly no use bellyaching all the time.

Douglas.
