To put things in perspective let us recall the photo of Jack Straw shaking hands with the tyrant Mugabe.Or how about all the gladhanding of Blair and his IRA chums.I've shaken the hand of Peter Mandelson ----does that make me a EUrophile.

When I went to the Southwark election count, a few years back, the BNP lass didn't show. The Lib-Dem mayoress passed the following delightful comment: Good - Now I don't have to not shake hands with her!
