PUBLIC SPEAKING COMPETITION
NORTH EAST REGIONAL HEAT

Final to be held at UKIP 2006 Conference in October
(All Regional Heat Winners receive a trip to Brussels to meet their MEP’s)

First Prize £1,000

Borough Hall, Hartlepool
1.00 to 4.00pm

Meeting will be Chaired by
Stephen Allison (NE Regional Organiser)

Opening Address by
Geoffrey Kingscott (UKIP General Secretary)

and concluding remarks will be made by
Dr John Whittaker (UKIP North West MEP)

Buffet Lunch will be available beforehand from 12.00 noon

Admission by ticket only
Competition and Lunch £5.50
Competition Only £2.50

Typical UKIP.......information comes out in dribs and drabs......apparently if I enter I understand that:
1. The subject of the talk is my own choice.
2. The opinions offered are my own and are in no way official UKIP Policy and UKIP has NO responsibility for the content of my talk.
3. The maximum time allowed will be 5 minutes and the Chairman will cut me off if I over run this time.
4. The decision of the judges will be final.
5. If I am successful at the Regional Heat I must be available to attend the National Final at my own expense during the UKIP 2006 Conference in October.

PS......and I have to pay for my own lunch.......
