"If every party voted to be out of europe, and if UKIP did not exist, which established party would you vote for?"
I'm trying to establish what the average UKIP supporter would vote if we were not united behind the get out of europe issue. Would UKIP survive if the new Conservative leader says that he intends to withdraw from europe? |

If they voted out of the EU. Based on their Anti Iraq war stance, anti-ID card stance and the fact there are still a few Libertarians trying to fight back against the Commies/Socialists the Libby Dems for me.
They will never say out of the EU though, so that's a pipe dream.

Me too I think. The UKIP discussion issues are most interesting when they are about issues other than europe. We all KNOW that the EU is wrong. I for one don't know where my fellow members stand on the other issues.
If we really want to be out of Europe I think we need to concentrate on other policies and prove to everyone that we have a serious political agenda and not a one idea club. This is why I don't like the UKIP name. Its like the green party. No one gives a damn about what they think on defence, social services, foreign policy etc etc. That is why they will never be more than a fringe group. That is the trap that UKIP may fall into. |

You missed 'non of the above' from the poll. Also, right wing and left wing is old hat. Do you mean BNP and Greens?
For me, the Labour and Conservative governments throughout my entire lifetime have wrecked the constitution of the country, not to mention mining and heavy industry, the motor industry, the cultures of Britain, blah blah ad infinitum. The Lib Dems look like the worst parts of both parties combined INTO phpbb_one. It's a big cross through the entire ballot paper for me, or OMRLP. |

I don't name any right or left wing party on purpose. I'm not asking the question to learn how many fringe party supporters UKIP has attracted to this forum. I want to know how many main stream supporters there are who want out of the eu.
(To be honest I meant to put none of the above as an option but forgot) |
