UKIP quite obviously keeps bashing on about leaving the EU. The poblem with this is that it makes us appear as inward looking, little englanders (for some reason !!).
Should UKIP talk more about Britians role in the United Nations and in the World Trade Organisation etc. If UKIP develops comprehensive polices about engagement with the wider (wider than the EU) international community, then perhaps this will show we are not little englanders but more outward looking than the EU. It also means we can attack the EU for not helping the wider world such as the developing nations with the Common Agricultural Policy. At the same time it would send out the message of a more "grown up" policy for UKIP and help us appeal to the wider electorate. i.e. Outside the EU but also above and beyod it. |

Yes,
We need to take up the battle against the globalist ideas which the EU is just a symptom of. We don't just believe in freedom for Great Britain but freedom for every other nation as well. First we need to understand the globalizing agenda, why it's being promoted, who it benefits, why it is wrong in principle and risks global economic, social and environmental catastrophe in practice. Then we need to spell out an alternative, Localism, why it is right in principle and will work in practice. Of course one of main necessary precusors for implementing Localism will be the unravelling of the European project. ![]() |
