Default New name for the Members Association?

We will hopefully have a vote at the 4th Pub Conference on whether to change the name of the Members Association. I suppose that we should have a debate with a person speaking for and against, briefly.

However, that will mean that we will require a new name, if the vote goes that way. So, can we have some sensible suggestions please? So far we have:

The Edwin Scrymgeour Group
The Lechlade Group

Just kidding.

Lechlade Think Tank.

You want to keep unity, so I think 'group' suggests a Veritas type movement, whereas 'Think Tank' has no connotations of becoming an alternative party.

This needs careful consideration.

Tomorrow night, I shall summon all my spiritual powers and enter a near comatose meditive state to commune with those higher beings from the astral plain.

I shall return with the answer.

This is at great personal risk and involves consuming a precise amount of mind bending chemicals - luckily for me I no longer have to struggle with test tubes , flasks and bunsen burners as this crucial conncoction is sold in Asda under the guise of a bottle of South 65 Special Reserve.

this precious liquid is also useful for time travel. All you need are two bottles and a pillow.

You drink the contents of the bottles, lay your head on the pillow, close your eyes for a second and you are immediately whisked forward 10 hours. - Works everytime.

Other parties have been this way before as have cross party groups. Already taken are:

Bow Group
Reform Club
1922 Committee
Manifesto Group
Militant
Bruge Group

Lechlade Group has a sort of middle England quality about it. It conjures up stone cottages, Old Father Thames, antique shops, Shelley walking in the churchyard, Ha'penny Bridge, swans, barges, bikers having a quiet meet by the river, feeding the ducks and picnics in meadows. It's a solid sort of name.

That just about describes the village 'cept I ain't never seen that old boiler from behind the bar in Corrie wandering about.

The Enid Plague Memorial Society has a ring to it.

Speaking of which, I was quite embarrassed at conference when Matt asked for her autograph.
