I wasn't at the Friday meeting so can't comment on it but the Saturday was very good. I would have preferred longer to debate motions but when you only have one day it's hard to do everything. As a former member of "one of the other parties" I used to enjoy the fringe events as much as the main hall. This is something that is missing from UKIP Conferences, I suppose because they are still to small to attract them. How about having working meetings or training sessions on the day before or the day after the conference??

I think we should have 3 days, one for the business meeting (as should be per constitution), one for the Big Speeches and one for activists and fringes prefferable falling in the middle so you can pick and choose what days you want to attend or just go for all 3. Of course, it should be held in a large seaside resort where there is plenty of cheap accomodation and should be easily accessible to the whole country to maximise turnout.

We are going to have a spring conference next year I understand, yes. However we don't hold Welsh and Scottish-specific conferences as we are the same party nationwide, unlike the others.

I understand a spring conference - at a seaside town - is on the cards.

Going off previous organisational masterpieces, the chosen shortlist towns are to be Peterhead, John o'Groats or St Ives (Cambridgeshire - there was some geographic confusion here, apparently)
