Farage speech in EUP this week well worth reading, and using in letters. John Kelly http://www.ukip.org/abc_news/gen12.php?t=1&id=1603 |

It's great knockabout stuff.
Whatever you think or don't think of Farage as a potential leader of this party; whatever one thinks of his unfortunate over-reaction to the Members Association; he certainly has done wonders in the EU Parliament and deserves a lot of credit for it. I know our prime purpose as a party is not to fight battles in the European Parliament, but I do love watching him make them squirm! |

He's good on the telly and consistantly wins the debates but he's a preening egotist, dismissive and astonishingly arrogant. He barely registers as you as sentient life unless you have something he wants. A prize **** really. Not surprising he's cutting it in politics.
In that respect he's the ideal spokesman for the party but I don't think he has leadership ability because he doesn't listen to people. He's more use to UKIP where he is as if he ever got to be leader the only place he could go afterwards is out of the party having alienated all the other useful people. That would be a mistake because UKIP needs him. |
