No it doesn't. Oh, come off it Christina, not you too
Simon doesn't know any better but I gave you a great deal more credit than that.

You are both completely missing my point! I'll spell it out for you.

What I quoted from Alex, about UKIP being comprised of old men, says what I posted. I was critiquing Alex's comment, not agreeing with it.

Someone over 65 may be considered old (I'd put it at over 70) those around 50 are middle-aged.

Alex's reply to Simon was not an answer to his point, it was a confirmation.

I've seen the photos of the local UKIP meeting and was surprised to see how many young faces there were. I was particularly surprised at Alex, I previously thought he was in his 50s.

Perhaps a quick lesson in quotes is needed as well. You cannot cite what you interpret my comment to be as what I have said. I might think that anyone over 30 is ancient (I don't but I could have written that with that in mind.)

So you cannot quote me as saying that UKIP is mainly men over 65 because I didn't say that. Oh, and for future reference I consider old to be 75+ and ancient to be 125+.

Alex,

Did you or did you not write:

Quote:
I'm going to be blatantly honest - UKIP IS a party of old men at the mo...
If you did, then UKIP is a party of men over 75, in your estimation. I do not believe that.

You make that happen and you will go down in UKIP history as a legend. If you need help doing them and don't mind early 30's types like me, then give us a shout!

Well that's better than the Tories.

You'll be lucky to find one younger than 80
