Someone has already voted for me,how can that happen?

The Tory stuff should not be on a UKIP site.

Regarding said statement by Nigel,a big mistake, because it can be interpreted as us being in league or support with the Tory party liars.

Just another foot placed heavily on our shoulder to make sure we go under.

"Ken Clarke is a man of great principle and experience, and has support from a very broad range of voters" says UKIP MEP Nigel Farage
"He says he is the best man for the job and we at UKIP agree whole
-heartedly. It is thrilling that Mr Clarke has changed his mind on the single currency"
I have just been in touch with S/E office regarding this statment, I am assured that tongue WAS planted very firmly in cheek.

Well, that's alright then,I just hope everyone who reads or hears about this realises it was so. I don't for one minute think that we can gain from remarks that are presented like this. A serious remark would be the preferable response I think.

Keen to draw support away from the Tories, Ukip today said it would like to see Mr Clarke become Tory leader, since they expected to benefit as anti-Europeans abandoned the Conservative party
.

Well at least the Grauniad reported it in it's correct context.

You can't help the media twisting things for their own agenda!

Not a big issue, but it is one of those things that needs to be dealt with as we move from amateur to professional. Flippant statements like this will have to be vetted beforehand.

Questions we should ask before making any statements:

1. Are we telling the truth?
2. Are we commenting for the sake of it?
3. Do we have anything useful to say?
4. Will our statement confuse people?
5. Who is the statement aimed at?
6. Will our statement promote or damage UKIP?
7. Is the statement "on-message"?
