Perhaps for new members to the forum you could give some basic outlines of how you see the strategy of research groups unfolding? 8)

That would be the long term ambition. For the moment just a handful of groups doing anything at all will be a great start.

It was discussed in some detail in a thread about making it "open source". The aim will be to run as much as possible over the web, using a private forum.
