As much as neccessary to represent there constituents, expose corruption and hold the EU to account while still spreading the word, promoting UKIP, supporting the constituency associations and providing leadership at home.

Im afraid none of your poll options represent my veiws on this matter.

I joined UKIP in the NE, where unfortunately we dont have any meps, however the local presence of our regional organiser, Steven Allison, is appreciated.

When was the last time you heard the average British person (in a pub, shop, whatever) discussing the exciting doings of the EP in Brussels or Strasbourg :?:

For that reason B A is right - because whatever they do in Brussels will be largely ignored, except by the likes of us. We need at least some of them in the community because we don't have any MPs or many councillors. Elected representatives get more media coverage particularly at local level.

Alex- if they are going to represent their constituents then they might at the least have the odd surgery to find out what their constituents want :?:

I totally agree with that statement Percy. I’ve been known to go in the odd pub now and again, and in all of the years of doing this I have never heard mention of the EU, what I have heard people moan about is TAX, HEALTH, JOBS, PENSIONS, IMMIGRATION, CRIME, EDUCATION and what do I hear most "I DONT TRUST ANY OF THEM" "THEIR ALL THE BLOODY SAME".
What are our MEPs doing about this, there fighting the good fight in Brussels
