Well, I suspect that most people feel the same way as I do - that it will die a death and nothing will come of it. Petitions have a huge potential to absorb vast amounts of time for absolutely no impact.

I do hope that it works, of course, but I am doubtful. Whether they will be able to inspire the troops to pound the streets getting signatures remains to be seen.
