Default UKIPWatch making stuff up again?

Just had a look at the comedy site to see what the clowns are saying. One of the "news items", suggests Petrina has been sidelined. It then goes on to suggest that the yearly conference is some sort of emergency meeting, proving how unreliable the site is, but does anyone know if there is an ounce of truth to the Petrina rumour?

I haven't heard anything like that, and I hope that it is untrue.

Normally, I hate confrontation. But reading this, I was suddenly moved to register ukipwatchwatch.org (I operate my own registration system, so it's not a biggie). Now the question is: can I be bothered to document the absurdities of what seems, at first sight, to be a bunch of unreconstructed Trots? And the other question is: if I did so, would anyone contribute?

Ukipwatch = nonsense

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to polish my UKIP badge

Yes, having looked at it more closely, I'm not sure it's worth bothering with.

I agree, only UKIP types read it for a laugh anyway.

The Ukipwatch domain name, as has previously been discussed, is owned by Jo Wood, aka Josephine Jane Wood, a European Labour Party and Brussels Labour International Branch member who lives in Brussels but stood in the South East England Region European Elections from her sister's address in Oxford. In her spare time, she's the External Relations Director/Director of European Stakeholder and Patient Relations for Glaxo Smith Kline, and an accredited lobbyist to the EP. She's also a member of ECPA, so she moves in fairly well-connected circles.

The main contributors to Ukipwatch appear to be Ms. Wood and our favourite Labour MEP, Richard Corbett (who, coincidentally, is a 'Faculty and Research Forum' member of the ECPA...)

Don't underestimate these people.

Personally, I find it best to monitor the opposition closely - after all, that's what they're doing to us.

PR, I'd be more than happy to contribute; maybe we could add a CorbettWatch page!

As the saying goes, keep your friends close but your enemies closer..... We must always know how to discount their rumours. Anyway I'm sure they'll get bored with it in a few years time.
