Default Godfrey Bloom had a point - even women agree.

I read with interest something I just found on the net about Godfrey Bloom. It looks as though it were written days after the Euros and starts off pretty derogatory about UKIP.

However slowly several posters come accross as agreeing with Godfrey - to a degree.

Just thought some people like Scotgirl should see this

Link: Do a search for UKIP as it's quite far down. (edit - find in this page).

I always thought God. B. to be wrong about mentioning cleaning behind the fridge - it gives the Commission a golden opportunity to pass some edict that demands the rear of the fridge be cleaned because it's a health hazard

Had he the skill to point out that the legislation on employment law hurts other women who don't have children, and small businesses run by women, and that women who run a business get pregnant, have their baby are back at work within days etc. and therefore are being forced to pay for a lifestyle/priviledge for others they can't afford for themselves, he would have scored a direct hit, sadly he could only imply however, wittily intended, that women belong in the kitchen. As long as ukip have such people as representatives the cause will be seriously delayed, good of course if you're main interest happens to be earning money!

He did that, and they had a poll in The Times at the time and the poll was massively in favour of what he said.

You shouldn't be so selective in what you read.

I wasn't selective in what i read, I was watching him live on tv when he said his wonderful qoutes, you are all trying to restructure you're party(apparently) and good luck to you, I do genuinely wish you well, and I have no doubt that many of you know Mr. Bloom better than I, but if you think you have a chance with the current crop you are sadly mistaken.

(As a woman) I agreed with what GB said, but sadly too many people judge a person on the headlines that he or she generates. He handed the europhiles a great quote.

Indeed he did. It's part of his alternative charm I suppose, but forgive me If I think that sometimes our MEP's should be a little more responsible and remember that ordinary members put them in power, and that they are there to do a job not espouse personal views. I agree, Godders, but next time clear it with conference first eh?
