I don’t know if you have ever gone on the Veritas forum but it is very heavily moderated and restricts freedom of speech IMHO.
As well as the heavy mods, you have those damned winkle pickers upsetting everyone, its chaos in the members area, a riot has broken out, officers posting like drowning men, claim and counter claim, Hockney is taking anti depressants I heard, not good, finished at Veritas, rejected by UKIP.

surely UKIP can find it within their hearts to take him back, I would be a shame to waste all that talent.

Can somebody have a word with the UKIP leadership and rescue this staunch anti EU freedom fighter before its too late.

Sorry, I'm willing to forgive him - as a Christian i don't have any choice - but if he didnt want to lie in it he shouldn't have made his own bed.

He saw RK-S as a means for him to further his own ambitions and it didn't pay off.

I'm happy for him to come back as a member, but only provided he supports wholeheartedly his local chairman and does all he can to support the party.

It might help in his rehabilitation if he did the honourable thing and resigned his London seat.

If he is allowed to come back as though nothing has happened then you would lose the bulk of our activists.

Rejected by UKIP? (Something lost in translation here I think, ed.) I think it might be an idea to have him back. I think it might be an idea to have our GLA seats back. A sensible approach would be to convince him that he's caused no end of hassle and that some penance - including the return of seats - is agreed and a low profile be kept for say 18 months. Let him 'work behind the scenes'. No return of seats NOW - no deal. How many UKIP leaflets did he distribute in April?

I have been perusing the VERITAS forum and if the UKIP Forum went down the same route it would die just like the Talk VERITAS forum is dying now. I have stopped visiting the VERITAS Forum since there were a number of bannings which resulted in me being so disgusted by the total lack of free speech that I left.

This forum's problems have been superbly addressed by Anthony and Matt.

However, there is widespread ignorance, and many UKIP members I've spoken to don't know it exists, but are keen to get involved.

Maybe each branch should have a link on its website?
Fine as of tonight the Gloucestershire County website will point this way!

Fair enough, I suppose! I ebb and flow like the tide though. Is it possible to have a 'open to persuasion' avatar?
