I have recently spoken to a former leader of a Tory council. He said he was finished with the Tories because and I quote "They have no vision or principles". I agree 100%. That is why I left them myself.
They say one thing in private and yet in public say something totally different. Many a time in the general election I spoke to Tory members who said they agreed with UKIP but were too scared to say so in front of other members. Michael Lord MP told one voter that he agreed with UKIP but would not back them as he would lose his job as Deputy Speaker in the House. A cushy job means more to him than his principles. He also said he was opposed to the Constitution but has gone very quiet on the subject now he has been re-elected. Pathetic. The Tories can never be trusted and are just as bad as Labour and the obnoxious Lib-Dems. They all put party before country. They deserve our contempt. |
