smooveOp I like your question, there is no real difference between ukip and Veritas the only difference is the leadership not people like our selves.
What is ironic is that we the poor foot soldiers all believe in the same thing yet it is the people at the top divide us. I do believe after this election ukip will change and I really hope some of the people that have left will come back and together we will achieve what we all want |

OK - My feeling is that UKIP will have to change a bit though.
Bear in mind that quite a few Veritas members, like myself, were never part of UKIP in the first place. Are there any realistic hopes of it changing in the furture? |

If it doesn't change it will lose most of it's current members (including me).
I would welcome any Veritas members in, except leadership. As I expect Veritas people wouldn't come over unless our leadership changes significantly, I think we can all see what the sticking point is here.

I remember an announcement by the Roman Catholic church that they would 'merge' with any other denomination/faith as long as the other party accepted the Pope as head of the resultant merger and the other party adopted the pricipals of roman catholisism.
I'd offer the same to any member of Veritas who proposed a 'merger'. UKIP is, was and will be UKIP. Those who chose to leave and go elsewhere, not just to Veritas, are welcome to rejoin UKIP. Why on earth would UKIP want or need to merge? 28,000+ members and 12 years standing on one side and a handful of members and 20 or so weeks standing on the other - hmmm, hard one to call.
