With all modern DNA technology we can be sure of guilt.
Many people interned for life i suspect prefer death which is what we could offer them. Certain crimes like Child Rape could be death penalty offences crimes like this often have guilt assured. Sperm left in the victim for example. |

If for example you have a prisoner who is in jail for life and he keeps attacking prison staff and raping other inmates should he not be hanged?
Two friends of mine work in a Prisons and have to put up with this sort of thing. |

If you can be sure of guilt that is one thing, but what if you can't and I know very well that you cannot always be sure, what would you do if you hanged someone who was innocent?
Personaly I doubt you would even care. |

The right of the state to sentence someone to death (for whatever reason) is the most SERIOUS debate on the political, moral & ethical spectrum,to reduce this to a one-liner (at the start) without putting forward reasoning or argument but simply to enhance "numbers" of votes is disgracefull & the author should be ashamed.
As a Yorkshireman living across the water i unilaterley sentence him/her to one of the 10,000 holes in Blackburn LANCASHIRE. Theauthor wont be lonely for too long as Jack Straw will be down there soon too :!: Can we have total faith in the courts & corrupt judicial system :?: |
