Default Media coverage

Unlike other elections such as those to the European parliament or London assembly, the results will be determined in constituencies fought on a first-past-the-post system.

This means that while smaller parties such as the UK Independence Party, the Greens, George Galloway's Respect and Robert Kilroy-Silk's Veritas may gain more media coverage, it would be a significant achievement for any of them to make the breakthrough INTO phpbb_Westminster.
What media coverage. According to all the news channels, there are only three parites running.

I just watched the BBC evening news. Lots of coverage about the election, with section on Labour, Conservatives and Lib Dems. They briefly interviewed someone from the SNP and Plaid Cymru.

UKIP wasn't mentioned once in a 15 minute segment on the election.

Farage was on Sky News, I just caught the end of it, where they asked him what our answer to the other parties helicopters and aeroplanes was.

Old London Buses, the ones the EU banned!

Imissed the evening news, but the 1 o'clock news featured Roger, I think, as did News 24. He was also on ITN news channel and also was recorded by Sky, as was Nigel later on.

Roger also did BBC Radio News.

FWIW, we also did Croatian and Ukranian TV on Colleg Green

Rgds

Mark, that's good to hear. I hope that the BBC aren't reverting to their older habit of ignoring us. Even when refering to "others", Peter Snow didn't use our name.

I have been contacted about a BBC radio profile today though.
