Default Farage on Channel 4

You have to hand it to him, he might not be everybody's cup of tea but Nigel Farage certainly knows how to handle TV interviews. I thought he gave a very polished performance , really putting UKIPs message across. This is the type of exposure we need, ( more often!!)

Agreed, he did really well. Let's hope Petrina gives an equally good performance on Wednesday.

Would have been nice to see the fact he was speaking advertised! Don't suppose it's on the web anywhere?

Yup, why didn't we know about it?

I suppose we don't actually need to know, but given how infrequently our people appear on the telly, it is always good to see (if only for morale-boosting).

I missed it. They should have put it on the website.

UKIP has a Press Officer. The non publication can only be looked on as being a deliberate act/decision by the HO. Obviously, the UKIP Press Officer is always searching for material to bring the UKIP Party name INTO phpbb_the public domain and to be quite honest very very little has ever been released. Is it HO control practice to act this way to the Membership by sanctioning releases,or,is it the case that we have a Party Press Officer who doesent give a toss? I'm sure it is the former or even some other reason.

I only saw it by accident! These little UKIP happy times need to be advertised on the web.

Why don't we all drop the main website a suggestion that they publicise EVERY UKIP T.V appearance, as soon as they find out about it. I'm going to do so now.

Even better is if they post clips or at least links to clips if possible.

Thank you :!: for your vote of confidence.

It was not put on the website simply because the three of us here are snowed under with re-election work, and I'll confess it was an oversight not to do so.

It was included in the news update which should have goe out on Friday night, but because of e-mail problems with BT Internet, it did not get sent until late last night or, for some addressees, early this morning.

Rgds

Mark
