Default Howard Flight for UKIP

Do you think Howard Flight should be asked to stand for UKIP? He is firmly against EU and single currency. Arrundel is the 7th safest Tory seat and with a personal following he could split the vote and win it for UKIP.

Thoughts please........

We should be tapping him up right now! We want people who tell the truth, he won't be sacked for that with us!

Seconded, the fact that he is refusing to throw in the towel shows he will stand his ground on something he believes in.

I hope for the parties sake that they made an approcah almost immediately, we need this type of activity to get media coverage. I would propose a campaign to ensure a coordinated effort, email HQ to make sure they get on with this ASAP.

We'll always have that tag, even though more and more other party members and previously unafiliated people join us.

This guy has a pretty good track record compaired to most, I wouldn't turn him down, just because he was a Tory. That would be very petty and small minded of us.

There is nothing wrong with the tory party tag as long as its an alternative tory tag. People left the tories and either did not vote or turned to labour. The ones that turned to labour are looking for a new home, unable to go back to the official tory party they are now looking for a new home, in steps UKIP..........well if they could get their act together and organise something properly?!?!

There is agolden oportunity.....blah blah. I know you have all heard it before.

All hands on deck this, man must be invited to join us, he is certainly closer to us on his thoughts about the EU, than the leadership of the party he has just left
