There was a book advertised in the daily express called England our England a nation in jeopardy by Vernon Coleman which says that the government and the EU plan to have 9 bureaucratically approved regions of Britain. What I would like to know has anyone read this book and can they give me an opinion on it.

Yes - I've read it. It is concise and spot on. My only criticism is that it would be more useful if quotes were fully referenced.
