Default UKIP reaches 300 candidates

From the PPC bulletin:
Quote:
The meeting of Regional Organisers in London on 28 February was most productive, each one reporting an increase in selected candidates, so that we now have over 300 candidates in place country-wide
That's good news. I was worried that we had stalled on 250.

Just 200 more to go....

I looked at the list on the UKIP website, to see if they were putting someone up in my area. The candidate they have on the list told me at the weekend that he has resigned from the party and is going to join Veritas. Not trying to make a point or anything, just saying it's obviously not up to date.

UKIP West Dorset Parliamentary Constituency chose Mrs. Linda Guest as their candidate last night.

"Ordinary British people who feel like me are in their millions - we wish Britain to leave the EU. We have no poliical representation in Parliament. This is not democratic," said Linda explaining her reason for standing. "Only by leaving the EU can we restore proper accountable democracy where truth is more important than the pay cheque."
