LP-2004 is just starting out
Default 'Britishness' and multiculturalism.

I know a few people who were thinking of joining UKIP, but have joined veritas instead.

When I asked them why? Aswell as the the obvious publicity kilroy has given Veritas, two things edged my two friends towards the new alternative Party.

The two differences they saw are: the way in which Kilroy highlighted the fact that 'multiculturalism has never worked' and asked who asked us (british majority) if we wanted a multiculturalism society.
The second factor in my friends swaying, was the Veritas policy to secure the British culture.

Maybe this is something for UKIP to adress.

Unlike your areas it seems, my area doesn't know who Veritas are. Those that do know it ridicule it, because they read what the papers say, and believe it all.

Woking is multicultural, and has been for some time. You do find that the different groups tend to live in patches though, rather than mixing together.

Veritas certainly is making the whole British identity thing a major issue, which has been a part of UKIP's mission, but not the biggest selling point. I am personally quite glad about that, as while I do think it is an important issue, to me it's not the most important issue.

If Britain regained control of itself then the rest would follow! That is my primary focus and I think the parties too.

I still think there is a major North/South, Red/Blue, almost class split going on here. I have aleady seen a few Vertias members moaning that all the power seems to be centred around London.

It will be interesting to see what happens at the general election. Those bridges Anthony is building may be needed sooner than expected. I have my opinion on what will happen, but I will keep that to myself!

I think there is a slight north/south divide, but I think Liverpool is a different story.

Labour and the cons have lost any trust the scouse people may once of had in them, well thats what I take from conversations I have with people from around here.

I really believe Liverpool is perfect for UKIP, I've heard rumours the LibDems are having a big push in the area to mop up those extra votes.

So how is the UKIP campaign in Liverpool shaping up? Do you have candidates in place yet?
