Yes, definitely David Lamb should be spokesman on pensions. Surely the spokesmen for Scotland and Wales could be the chairs of UKIP Scotland and UKIP Wales? Those are the people the press turn to anyway, but why not make them part of the official lineup? I can see that the spokesmen are mainly MEPs, but Petrina is on the list, and she isn't an MEP, so plainly it isn't an absolute requirement.

By the way, will this team be unveiled to the media with a press conference and a bit of razzmatazz? It should be! On a slack news day I'm sure there would be some good coverage. It would be a display of some of the talent we have on board and would definitely undermine the "UKIP are a single issue party" myth.

If only they did.
Our problem up here is that nobody wants to talk to us. My job is to make sure that they do.
