ACCEPTED BY SEERA FOR ITS DISSOLUTION,

TO BE DEBATED AT THE PLENARY MEETING IN HOVE ON 2ND MAR

The Leader of Wokingham Dist. Council, who has drafted the resolution, said
it would greatly help if people telephoned SEERA Member Councillors
(especially those in their constituency), together with the "Social and
Economic Partners". Request that they support the resolution to dissolve the
Regional Assembly. The telephone numbers below are in COUNTY order to
assist you.

(SEERA is a highly expensive, undemocratic quango body that Prescott has
used to seize local government planning powers. Without SEERA the excessive
building under the "South East Plan" would not be possible)

Note: On 2nd March SEERA meets at the Hove Town Hall, Norton Road. We will
be outside with our usual protest from 9.30am. Do join us; we have plenty
of banners and leaflets.just come. There were 70 at our last demo in
Woking.

They voted to scrap it, but due to some rubbish procedures, the vote meant nothing.

The elected body voted for it to be dissolved in force, while the gravy trained selected people voted for more gravy.

Either way we still have it, and the Tories won't withdraw their members. Gutless wonders, the lot of them.

Thanks,I hope the facts regarding the attitude of the Tory Party has been published and exploited. It's obvious that if theTories miss the chance to remove SEERA,then they are still 100% for the EU. All their talk about RENEGOTIATING TREATIES is like them,a load of lies. They must have less than zero credability in the area.
