Knapman looking to the exit door ?

Is Roger Knapman a Quitter?

Rumours circulating widely among UKIP members in the South West of England have it that party leader Roger Knapman is tiring of the constant criticisms and defections to Veritas and is planning to stand down immediately following any prompt General Election.

Incredibly enough, hot tip to replace him is the recently unknown Party Chairman Petrina Holdsworth who would seem to have done nothing to prove she has the necessary political astuteness since taking over from David Lott a few months ago.

Some credence can be given to such a suggestion however, as it would tie in with the normal strategy of Nigel Farage MEP, who likes to control the party from the sidelines by appointing weak and inept leaders. Ms Holdworth would seem to have all the qualities necessary to step smoothly INTO phpbb_the shoes of Roger Knapman in that respect.

We will cover developments on the blog and hope to report more fully on a circular UKIP members in the Midlands received asking if the recipients are still within the party or indeed plan to continue their membership!

Hmm! Looks like problems within the cabal ! 8)

And we thought the trouble makers might pack it in when Veritas was formed, how wrong can you be.

Utter rubbish, Knapman has no intention of stepping down before the election and it really does sadden me to see Veritas are still focused firmly on attacking UKIP as it's primary aim.

We have seen for days the scheming from Veritas people trying to push this rumour and I have lost all remaining respect for the people running Veritas.

Spokespeople from your party are still attacking UKIP and it's members at every opportunity both on this forum and that blog. I am now deeply suspicious of their motives as I know longer think they are anti-EU at all. I have no idea if RKS has sanctioned this behaviour, but the fact he is letting his key people do this means I no longer think Veritas is a serious party.

Bullish sounds good to me and is what I want to hear, VeryCrass on the other hand seem to be intent on confrontation and being insulting to UKIP and its Members within this forum and others. Like their so called leader they need to develope some class, and demonstrate their reliability and integrety,also,among other things,they need to show everyone that they are really a part of the Countries "EUROSCEPTICs". Remember.to date,they have done nothing and shown even less.VeryCrass members cross INTO phpbb_this forum because nothing is happening in their own forum or in their Party.Nothing!

You would do well to look internally at UKIP, and find out who is the perpetrator of the internet war on veritas via the google search engine ! :x Once you lot put your own house in order, then you may be free to pass comments about others. :x
In any case, how many times has Martin Cole been slagged off on his blogspot, only to be proved right some time later ?

Hartlepool, you do make me laugh, how can you say weed need class, when your party has the likes of Knapman, Bloom and Nattress.

As for euroscepticism, what is happening is a GE, any party needs to be more than a single issue, Veritas have put out with a press conference a detailed policy on asylum/immegration, UKIP have put up a poster, when the oppotunity came to put across a detailed policy your leader blew it, he was on the T.V and all he could do was say that the eu now has control of Britains borders, he offered nothing.

I put these questions up a while ago, post heading "is this true" and they were just questions, I gave no opinion, it is for you in UKIP to know whats going on in your party, I'm just putting up what I know or have heard, you lot need to do the digging.

I myself have been in the press several times and thogh I'm asked about UKIP, like all in veritas we make no comment, there are people obviously still within UKIP that feel there is still a need for Martins blog, that can be the only way he gets information from your own people.

I had this before Martin, having been a member of UKIP for 8 years I have lots of contacts around the country, some of them asked me if I had heard the rumours, I put it up here so as you could find out for yourselves.

But it seems to me that it is you looking for confrontation.

"Dave," as of this date we do not have a GE date yet.Perhaps it may even be in 2006.As a former UKIP MEMBER you are fully aware that we are far from being a single issue party. It is obviouse to many that disapointment is running high within VeryCrass as they have done nothing in the four weeks they have been around. Roger Knapmans statement informing people that the EU controls our countries borders was for peoples information and was a true statement,that is all.UKIP are still forming plans,Policy and strategy.We will be informed in due course what these are.I do hope that VeryCrass get to survive and are not a "ghost ship" as described by Bobby V. We do not dig or undermine our party or yours.In future when asked by your press,maybe you should tell them the "truth"and say we are all Euroskeptics instead of making no comment and missing an opportunity to promote getting out of the doomed EU,WHICH IS THE MAIN GOAL. Finally,lets all remember who opened this forum,and who has tried to cause friction and confrontation,its still an open forum and the mainstay of attacks and confrontation are not from within the UKIP supporters/members in this Forum.

Dear dear, Hartlepool if you insist on quoting what I say or write please get it right. The ghost ship I was referring to was the particular forum I was on. Which by the way in it's exclusivness has a nice feel to it. Veritas has not been standing still for the last four weeks. There has been a lot of behind the scenes activity. Believe me, my mate Dave and me have made the right decision in joining Veritas, you should come across too!
