Default Leaflet effectiveness

After nearly crippling myself today lugging leaflets around God's country. I was wondering how much success people were having with their campaigns. Most of our leaflets have a membership form of some sort, so I was wondering if people have been seeing good responses to any particular leaflet.

Getting the free ones out of the regional office is tricky, as everyone piles in and nabs them for themselves. For this reason, I need to know the ones that people have been seeing the best results from. Enquiries, members etc, etc. As our branch will be looking at producing some more of our own over the campaign, and we want to make sure we are getting the best bang for our buck.

Any feedback appreciated!

Biscuitman is just starting out

No new members, two abusive letters, letters appearing in the press about pensions not from our writing team, the other parties worried becuase we're showing up well in their polls. (See Round 1 to the Biscuitman elswhere).

Two weeks ago I gave out some copies to guys I have been chatting to over the last five seasons at the footy match.

One of them got tele-canvassed by Labour last week, told em he'd always voted Labour and was going to vote UKIP because of pensions. They had no answer.

Thats another tactic - if you do speak to voters as you hand out your l;eaflets - ask them to ask the other parties what they are going to do about the EU pension liabilities..

I have so many things that I think the other parties have no answer too, pensions being one of them. I always try to get people onto a subject that they are passionate about. If they don't seem to care then I throw in the pensions issue quite a bit.

Bluemerle is just starting out

We have a selection meeting on the 1st March. We sent out an appeal for funds along with the meeting notice, and funds have started to come in. Whoopee.

I had 11 enquiries back from some leafletting, not many, but it is early days.
