The events directory now has an add event button, I don’t know how long it has been there but this is really useful for all of us to list are functions on.

Hallejula!

I have been banging on about adding something like this for ages. Small steps, but positive ones at least!

Next I want to see a whole site dedicated to non-UKIP people, looking for reasons to vote UKIP!

The trouble with the link (and all links on all the UKIP sites designed by Manic Monday) is that the link looks exactly like normal text. It doesn't stand out as something you can click. I think it should be a proper button or at least highlighted in some way.

But yes, it is a step forward.

I have to agree mkp this is a definite step in the right direction, at last they must be listening (notice I’ve shortened your name I think I know you well enough)

Thats fine with me! You can call me what you want, most people do!

Tom's right about the design features though. I don't want to diss Manic Monday, as it is his business we are talking about, but I really do think some fundamental changes are required.

Stuff that really shouldn't even be an issue, that an novice wouldn't do to be honest.

Perhaps it is me, as I haven't seen any political site that do a great job. Even the money laden big parties have fairly poor shows if you ask me.

Anthony had the idea right, the main site is fine for us lot, as long as they leep updating it with news and information. What REALLY is needed is a simple, but intereesting site for the public, focused on the coming election.

I have only just noticed that the national web site has now got a link on the front page for branch websites and are actively encouraging us to write in with details of our local sites. I don’t know how long it has been there because now days I just give the site a quick glance because I had become disillusioned with it. I shall have to start paying it a bit more attention. See it doesn’t take a lot to make me happy

All the internal party stuff stripped out.

Clear , uncluttered front page with out core messages, with links to more details if people want it.

Daily updates with responses to other parties policies and pointing out all the destortions and lies!

Hard hitting cartoons, slideshows, flashmovies. Party political broadcasts to down load, interviews with the key UKIP characters.

Then a membership/support page and links to the more membership orintated site if people want it.

Most voters want instant messages, they don't want, or can't be bothered to wade through lots of stuff to get to the messages!
