I don't support BWMA but am supportive of peoples rights. Why should someone be prosecuted for using a different set of measurements to the "standard"?
It's a ridiculous state of affairs. Libby, If, as you say, the Metric system is so good then it will naturally supercede the Imperial System without the need for directives insisting the sole use of the Metric system. Therefore, as others have stated, it was simply political interference and the warning bell should have tolled in your mind at the sight of it. People on this forum calling themselves Lib Dems could hardly be less suportive of Liberty!
