Latest News from the Campaign - 1.2.05

The news, as it happens, on UKIP's General Election Campaign.
31-01-2005

1. 32 new branches have been opened in the last three months.

2. 2 million copies of the pensions cartoon card have been distributed to branches all over the country and are being delivered through letterboxes by UKIP activists.

3. Responses to the cards are coming in at a rate of 200 per week.

4. Almost 550 new members have joined the Party since 1st December and more applications are coming in every day.

5. 1 million ‘Vote UKIP’ beer mats have been printed and are ready for collection from head office in Birmingham. Members can obtain these free by collecting them from Birmingham or, alternatively, by paying for their collection/delivery.

A great deal of planning and preparation for the General Election is going on within the Party and we will bring you regular updates on this page.
Good news. At last something up to date on the official website “is some out there actually listening". I would like to know where the 32 new branches are and what the total membership figures are as well.

Are the numbers for branches and members gross or net figures? It's just that you should probably take INTO phpbb_account the folded branches and defected/resigned members.
