Seriously, this is THE last election where there will be a meaningful vote.
Unless we get a significant enough share to concern the Government then the country is doomed. The Constitution referendum is an irellevance - if its a NO vote then the existing treaties stand, couple of modifications slipped in on the back of other legislation and thats it. I also believe that if Neu Labour has a resounding success at the polls, B-Liar will declare that, as he has already signed the EU constitution, the country has endorsed his policies and there is no need for all the expense, time and trouble of holding another vote when we've just had a General Election. That would also give him the Kudos when the UK takes the presidency of the Eu in the second half of the year of starting that presidency with the UK 'on side'. How I wish he would tag the referendum onto this election.
