Default The Battle Is Over But Not The War

The reason I came to Ukip in the first place was not just because of Europe I was sick and tired of the old party’s saying and promising anything to get INTO phpbb_power and then filling there ranks with politically correct career politicians who have made laws for the vocal minorities and ignored the voice of the quiet majority.Making laws that will eventually say what we can say and do.

They are slowly taking away the freedom that people fought and died for, removing our culture and heritage and slowly immersing us INTO phpbb_a super state of Europe, which in my opinion will end up in civil war like Yugoslavia and the USSR.

What attracted me to Ukip was its outline polices like local and regional referenda, making councillors/MPs accountable to their electorate firstly and the party secondly. This is bringing back politics to the people. Making people's vote count, saying yes your can make a difference.

This is real democracy a party of the people for the people. So what has happened, I think we all know we’ve read all the for and against arguments about corruption, mismanagement, bad infrastructure, bullying etc within the party a lot of them have been posted on this site. I’ve have asked many question about these issues and I am no clearer now than when I first asked.

Now I might not be the sharpest chisel in the box but even I could see there were manoeuvrings going on to prevent a leadership election. This is supposed to be a party of the people. What is going on? Then I thought about the people at the top, I have campaigned for one of them, now he is not short of a few bob but for the last ten years he has campaigned tirelessly just like the rest of us so what drove him, its the same passion that drives all of us, he could quite easily sell up and move to any country of his choice but didn’t he choose to fight.

With the success of June and the adoption of RKS he was being asked to agree to hand over there reins to someone who had only been in the party for a few months now this is where the problem lies could you after ten years of hard work with very little reward hand the party over. This is were the real test of faith lies I personally think if they had that much confidence they would have had the leadership election and in my mind RK would have won and the problem would have been solved.

They obviously thought different and that’s when democracy went out the window. So what do we do now I say we pack up are arms and prepare for the real war where we have a lot more battles to fight, but that doesn’t mean we don’t need people to police the party to keep it on track.

Most sensible thing you or anyones said on here for a while, since my last post anyway.

but BA, please, next time break your text up INTO phpbb_chunks... big blocks are hard to read when you've got little piggy eyes like me.
