Not really fair to call him a deviant though, unless he knows something we don't?

Here's the point in his statement where he tips over from slashing attack to outright untruth. UKIP's MEPs have already scored some very impressive points, but this prima dona is unwilling to give even an ounce of credit to his former colleagues.
Yes. There was no need to be vindictive. Now is the time for UKIP MEPs to telll to what use their expenses are put.

Hopefully most of 'em will say they use 'em to fund their UKIP offices and their anti-EU campaigns.

The salary is remuneration enough - they should be claiming all the expenses they can and using as much of them as possible to further UKIP's aims.

If not - why not?

Here's a BBC report of Kilroy's meeting last night. It's quite amusingly written:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/politics/4193743.stm

It says about 60 people attended. Given all the advance hype, a turnout of 60 seems a bit feeble. It does cross my mind that RKS may have misread the mood of the party. A lot of us are distinctly underwhelmed by the recent performance of the UKIP leadership - but maybe not so many want to destroy the party and march off INTO phpbb_the unknown behind the Tangerine Dream. Anyway, it is too early to say, obviously - we'll have to see what happens when Veritas launches properly. But I was surprised by the estimate of only 60. Would anybody who was at the meeting care to say if that was an accurate estimate?
