Default Should I or Shouldn't I

As the title suggests, Should I or Shouldn't I put myself forward to fight David Davis in the Haltemprice & howden constituency.

ballot paper would read:

David Davis - Tory

David Davies - UKIP

Would I get a few more votes do you think

Dave

Would it not actually read:

David Davies-UKIP
David Davis - Tory

I am sure ballot papers are alphabetical which puts you first.

Please don't.

Is this kind of 'chancer' politics that turns people off.

It's not chancer politics at all, I,m on the PPC list and require a constituency, if my name goes forward, I along with others will need to address the branch and it will be there decision, I don't think my name should rule me out of a constituency should it.

Weatherman you seem full of information and knowledge, you talk a lot of sense, maybe you should consider the post of leader should it arise, unless of course you are Roger or Robert, are you?

Why thank you ops:

No, I have no affiliations with UKIP, just interested in politics in general.

Frustrated Tory voter (no plans to turn as yet, sorry). Although if there was talk of getting the two parties to sing off the same sheet...
