Do we need a YANK telling us how to win, lest we forget Dick Morris was one of the undemocratic political committee members that decided UKIP should not stand in Birmingham or leicester by-elections, other members being Paul Sykes, David Lott, Roger Knapman and Nigel Farage.

Worst decision ever

He was also the YANK who did so well for us last JUNE.

I'll listen to anyone who could get Clinton elected for a second term and got him out of having to pay for the dress to be dry cleaned!

Sorry Biscuitman, I can't trust the judgement of any of those that were on that committee, when we were flying so high, especially when someone was prepared to stand and put up all costs( not RKS), I myself had pledged time and monies to the person for the campaign and I know of at least 14 others that had.

The fax I sent to P Sykes, got a phone call back from him, the explanation was that UKIP were basically running scared and that Hartlepool might be a better option as they voted a bloke in a monkey as mayor.

What a way to base a political strategy.

Hot shot political Strategist - my A**e

That's right, I remember how people on the street would ask "Aren't you Dick Morris' party?"
I remember how the press had pictures of Dick Morris on the front page every day.
I remember how Dick Morris turned the region with our lowest vote - East Midlands - INTO phpbb_our highest vote.

What a political genius!

PLLLLLLEASE don't try and turn this thread INTO phpbb_a leadership squabble again. It is has gone past boring for me now.

Not listening to someone because he is American is, quite frankly, insulting. If he has got good ideas and experience then we should be open to them. How much we should pay for these ideas is another matter all together!

Where is the leadership waffle, this is about strategy and strategists, if labour or tories or lib dumbs didn't put up a candidate just because they thought they might lose, you would question the strategy and the strategist.

The people on the UKIP committee are open to questioning, I have not questioned motives or personalities, I have however pointed out fact, I can't help the people on the committee they are who they are, would you rather I pretend it RKS, MKPD, NG, AB & Bruce Willis (as the American), the point remains the same, it's not the people it is the decision.

Had I left out the names of the committee, it is likely that you ask me to substantiate any claim made and rightly so, unless you ban use of all names.

Regards
Dave

I thought that he was pretty good on the Politics Show. It was quite refreshing to hear an alternative accent and view that wasn't the big three squabbling.

He obviously doesn't know what blogging is... but we can forgive that.

Wasn't aimed at you Dave, but someone else was implying everything UKIP has ever acheived is down to one person. Enough said!

I don't mind you questioning his strategy. What I did mind was this comment

Quote:

I don't see what him being a "Yank" has to do with anything. That is all.

I see your point let me put it this way

"do we need someone on the one hand telling UKIP how to get out of the eu, whilst he at the same time is advising balkan states how to get in"

A conflict of interests wouldn't you agree.
