Even the big boys France, Germany, Spain, Italy have a grudging respect for us in many areas. The EU needs the UK to bankroll it, so we command respect on that alone.

That doesn't mean certain quarters are not itching to see Brtiain disapear, and the U.K plundered of all it's wealth!

Hence, we try to stay friends, but don't let them near the silver!

All those countries combined don't even make up a third of the EU!

Maybe I should rephrase... The majority of Europeans don't like us.

And what happens when they let Turkey in?

God help us if we are still in the EU by the time Turkey is let in.

I would expect to be in New Zealand by then, as Britain would not be the country we know now by then!

Well actually, personally I don't believe in 'Britain'...
