Default Right or Left Shades

From some of the comment here it seems that a few people have absorbed the undercurrent of the Liberal Media in pre-supposing that anything with a 'Right' tag has to have 'extreme' in front of it and anything with a 'Left' tag is soft and cuddly and has 'centre' in front of it. All this proves is the level of propaganda which has been pumped out has had its effect. It is one reason why the Conservatives will never come to anything unless they are as 'right-on' as the Republicans in America and never Apologise for a very successful Conservative and Right wing century. The Left has been a failure and the short term success they are having is because they operate behind a smokescreen of language and mirrors whilst pursuing extreme Left policies. Being a Libertarian is actually to be on the right. Time to be de-programmed – Repeat after me everyone:
Right Wing good Left Wing Bad.

cynic, I don't consider libertarianism to be right-wing. It is not some point on a continuum between Lenin, Blair, Thatcher and Hitler. Left and right is one axis, but authoritarian and libertarian is another at right angles. We are neither "left" nor "right", we're "up".

Hell no, I don't subscribe to any of that.

Right wing bad, left wing bad, as far as I'm concerned. I refuse to put myself INTO phpbb_a little box.

I also refuse to be classed right or left. UKIP are made up of former Tories, Labourites and even Libs! We are not all of the same age group (I am 37). More and more people are turning away from the other parties because they feel betrayed. Only UKIP have the policies to make us great again.

So a group of disenchanted voters from all walks of life, ages and beliefs come together as one, under the UKIP banner...

Sounds too good to be true! Surely this is Utopia!!!

Nope, we have our problems as you well know!

The good thing is our problems stem from egos and personalities, which all parties suffer from.

We at least have the courage of our convictions and have the British nations interest at heart, rather than some political career!

LOL!

So how much are your MEP's taking off the Euro gravy train??? Surely I would have thought they'd pump it back INTO phpbb_the UKIP coffers? Anyone seen their expenses recently?

And the clash of egos you describe, nothing to do with each person has their own agenda, and would like to feel more important?

UKIP are sounding more and more like the next political party, briefings against, difference of opinions, clash of egos etc...

UKIP are not immune to human failings. Sorry ,if you want perfection, you will have to start up your own party, good luck though, because as soon as you get beyond one member, you will have problems of some sort!

UKIP MEP's do pump money back INTO phpbb_UKIP. They are also the only voice exposing the EU for what it is. I was unsure whether we should have bothered at first, but now I have seen all the trouble UKIP cause, when they snuffle out corruption, I am glad they are there!

UKIP are a political party, you can't do anything about infiltration, and individual members egos running away with them. Even the friggin church has such problems, so if you want "utopia", then sorry, thats a request no-one will be able to give you.

Don't get me wrong, I know political utopia can't and won't happen.

What you have said before is that UKIP are an alternative to all the voters that are fed up of the political squablling, clash of egos, gravy train yadda yadda ya...

Although in reality UKIP are no better (or worse) than any other parties. When you have a meeting of personalities, these things will happen! I'm sure there are people in UKIP in it for the money and fame...
