I know I have seen that before. I am not bothered with the fact he associates UKIP with patriotic badges, but the fact he has lumped us in with all the far-right Nazi parties doesn't help.

Not sure if we have a leg to stand on though. You can call a party anything you want, there is no law against it.

Yup - 'tis the association with BNP et al which bothers me.
I doubt the seller is aware of it.
Not sure why he doesn't include Labour and Tory as well though °¿°

Lets send him messages to ask him to remove our name.

The reason no mainstream parties are added is they wouldn't be interested in patriotic badges.

I wrote to him and here is the response: "I don't know if you are asking from a BNP or UKIP standpoint but I link these together along with the NF as this magazine carries articles that may be of interest to either group."

I am a powerseller on Ebay

I have just reported this guy for "keyword spamming", which may work. The more people who have Ebay membership who do this the more likely they are to be removed.

If the word "UKIP" has been copyrighted then there are grounds to have them pulled on that basis.

I believe in giving folks a fair chance and replied to him thus:

From a UKIP standpoint - we do not wish to be associated in any way with either the BNP or the NF.
Surely just saying "Patriotic" will do? Or even "Nationalist"?

To see the name UKIP in the same header as the BNP and the NF in consecutive e-Bay advertisements is harmful to UKIP's reputation which has been, in the past, tarnished by unfounded allegations of links betwen it and them.

Your co-operation would be appreciated.

Many thanks.

R.B.
