Default The BBC

With a fanfare the BBC announced that they were shifting 2,000 jobs to Manchester in a massive cost cutting exercise.

Hurrah! you cry.

Most employers would offer a relocating package to those whose jobs are moving, rightly so.

Good old Auntie Beeb is also offering a package which involves buying those that follow their jobs up north a house in Manchester!!!

My company used to do that. I thought that was a perk that died a long time ago, obviously not when your companies income is guaranteed!

Do you think there is any chance that the licence fee will be reduced if they are relocating people to cut costs? (says she with tongue in cheek)

I think there is more chance of the Conservative party becoming an effective opposition. In other words, when pigs fly!

I would like it to be known that there is no connection what so ever between the BBC and the Biscuit Broadcasting Company.
