i agree with your comments Andrew. It was a pity RKS decided to blow that young girl out of the water - it was a silly question, but i believe it could have been handled much better by RKS. Otherwise, he was very good, and Germaine Greer showed exactly how she has developed over the years.

I disagree with with comments like "patronizing " and "Blowing out of the water", if possible listen or wacth again, the young lady makes her comment RKS gives his rebuttal, then stops, Dimbleby prompts RKS and RKS says "I'm giving the Lady a chance to answer", the fact she had no answer is immatarial, the fact that RKS allowed to answer is good I would have thought, Balls and Taylor said perhaps she needs time, it was dimbleby that pushed the Patronizing bit, no other panelists did.

All panelists can only answer the questions asked, this week then has obviously not been great for news, but the questions that were asked were by definition populist questions, you cannot blame any of the panelists for answering in a populist way.

Ignoring any leadership waffle,How about RKS as leader and Germaine Greer as Deputy Leader or Chairman (please don't answer this point it's just for fun), these two though were by far and away the best panelists.

I will give my scores out of 10 for each of them. No comments about leadership issues here please. Go to the Warzone for that!

1. Greer 7/10 Solid steady perfomance
2. RKS 6/10 For the reasons stated above lost a few points
3. Leftwin 4/10 I kind of like him, but where was the substance?
4. Balls(apt) 1/10 For turning up

One thing that has amused me is how differently people see characters, based on their own positions. It just goes to show you everyone has different perspectives. You can't please everyone all of the time and all that!

Balls was **** by anyones standards though, another Blair toad.

...and that last comment just about sums up what is depressingly obvious about the corrupt party system we have in the UK ie its a near certainty that Ed Balls will be elected as an MP as he has been given a safe seat next to his wife (how convenient) but Kilroy and other UKIP notables will really have to fight to be in with a shout. Corupt, corupt, corupt (aided and abetted by an apathetic British public)
