Default Never mind the manifesto, buy a dressing gown!

When were members told about this? When did the NEC debate it? Who decided this was the best use of our scarce funds? How much rent do we pay, for how long? etc. etc.

It provides everything an ardent Eurosceptic could want under one roof with not a brussel sprout, french letter or turkish delight in sight.

You are becoming quite the expert at changing a positive INTO phpbb_a negative. Well done.

Sorry, MKPD, I'll try to be more positive...

Yes! Great news! Never mind leaflets, deposits and posters, this is what we should be spending party money on - opening a corner shop in Ramsgate! Why haven't the other parties thought of that?

How refreshing to see the leadership getting their priorities right! Well Done!

The shop gives us a high profile in a target seat. It should even finance itself. We stand to get an MP and a few quid. Rejoice!

Shoppers in the new store are advised to bring old shopping lists based on their needs in 2001. Any new shopping lists will be rejected by the NEC. (New Electronic Checkout)

Apparently the following letter has been sent to Petrina Holdsworth, the Party Secretary, from a member (I promise it's not me!). It'll be interesting to see her reply -

Quote:
Please let me know what how much money UKIP will make from this venture. (initially I would like an explanation of the proposed revenue split in the business plan).

What is the name and company registration of the legal entity that operates the shop?

Are there any plans to establish such shops in other parts of the country?

What is the nature of the contract between UKIP and the legal entity that operates the shop?

Who signed the contract on behalf of UKIP?

Was the contract approved by an NEC vote?

What's happened to the shop? Does anyone know? Nobody mentions it anymore. Was it mentioned at Exeter?

Perhaps Karen can tell us whether it's "financing itself".

(And no, of course Petrina didn't reply to that letter!)

Not sure if m taylor still looks through here? As the person who runs the shop, they would probably be able to comment from the frontline!

Are you there m taylor?
